Mainline Canal Project Seeks Greenway Facilitator

Description:
The Allegheny Ridge Corporation seeks assistance in forming regional alliances to develop and implement the strategy for the Pittsburgh to Harrisburg Mainline Canal Greenway in central/western Pennsylvania. The strategy will incorporate the corporate mission of enhancing heritage development, economic opportunity and ecosystems management using land and water-based trails. Duties to include:

Community outreach including meeting facilitation
Coordination with land use planners, watershed organizations, trail user groups, municipal leadership, and other greenway stakeholders
Facilitation of connectivity through analysis of corridor gaps
Facilitation/coordination of countywide greenway/open space plans with Pittsburgh to Harrisburg corridor
Collection of GIS data layers to build upon green infrastructure and encourage regional planning approach
Development of model programming including
