First Annual Greenway and Trail Summit

Make your plans to attend the First Annual Greenway and Trail Summit on May 5-6, 2005, a two-day conference sponsored by the PA Recreation and Park Society (PRPS) with funding support from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).

Beginning with Keynote Speaker Robert Searns, Vice President of American Trails, Inc. and a nationally recognized speaker, the conference covers a broad range of topics for those planning, designing and managing greenways and trails. Sessions by experienced professionals focus on a wide variety of trail types, including water, equestrian and off-road facilities, as well as on a wide variety of topics relevant to all greenways and trails, such as funding strategies, safety, maintenance, and volunteer stewardship.
